This weekend, the four teams for the Playoffs for HoN Tour Season 4 Cycle 6 will be chosen as well as the two teams who have to play in the Relegation Matches next week. Right now, every team still has the theoretical chance to join the former and prevent joining the latter, but for some teams it looks much better than for others. Here's a quick look at the teams before we continue our Christmas edition of HoN Tour.

[coL]compLexity Gaming

With three wins, one draw and no losses, the Americans are the current leader of the pack, ten points to their name and three more matches ahead of them. And with the Nightmare Knights and TwoZero as opponents for Saturday, it looks good for compLexity to join the Playoffs once more and enter the Winner’s Bracket, only the last match on Sunday will be more challenging, when they face Sync eSports in what could possibly to be the preview for the Winners Bracket Finals next weekend and perhaps even the Grand Finals.

[Sync]Sync eSports

While compLexity may be the overall leader of the Group in terms of points, Sync got the most points out of their matches so far and is right behind compLexity with a total of nine points out of three matches. Sure, they had some easier matches so far, but in those they were showing the strength of a future Champion and are now aiming to get themselves a Christmas present: winning Cycle 6 of HoN Tour Season 4.

[BMG]BadMonkeyGaming

Six points out of three matches isn't a bad start for the Monkeys this Cycle. They managed to defeat Fresh last Thursday and only lost to compLexity Gaming last weekend, so everything is possible for them right now and a spot in the Playoffs seems reasonable, perhaps even playing in the LB or Grand Finals if things go well for them.

[Mint]Fresh

While still in the top four with seven points right now, Fresh only has two matches left for this weekend, so thirteen points are maximum for them. Sure, they would most likely be in the Playoffs with that many possible points, but they have to get them first and this might prove a challenge. Their two opponents for the weekend are TwoZero and the Nightmare Knights, who both desperately need points to stay away from Relegation. Especially TwoZero may prove to be a problem, as this team has played very well last Thursday against Sync and might repeat that display of skill on Saturday. No matter what, Fresh will finish their matches on Saturday evening and hopefully get enough points out of these two matches to watch the others struggle on Sunday while relaxing and sipping some tea.

[ECx]Evil Corporation

After some quiet time, Evil Corporation are back in the mix and doing pretty well. They earned nine points in five matches and are looking good to be in the next Playoffs. With that said, their last opponents will be BadMonkeyGaming and Sync, so they kind of have to defeat a boss before advancing to the next stage here or hope that the competition will fail as well and their nine points are enough, which it probably won't. So they have it in their own hands this Sunday, prepare for some top HoN action with ECx.

[2ero]TwoZero

After having a great Cycle in the past, TwoZero has cooled down quite a bit again and right now they are struggling with Relegations rather than fight for the Playoffs. Five matches and only four points is not much and while there are other teams with even less points, those teams have more matches left to be played, so TwoZero cannot afford to take a break. And with Fresh and compLexity, they will face some very ambitious and skillful opponents.

[NiK]Nightmare Knights

The Knights survived last Cycles Relegation Matches, but so far they have not shown any improvement in the regular Diamond Division activities. This Cycle has been bad for them once more, zero points in three matches and if they want to make a difference this Cycle, they really need to start now. Fresh, compLexity, BadMonkeyGaming and Polymorph are waiting for them and they need at least five points and a ton of luck if they want to get out of the the Relegation zone. And that is only if both Polymorph and TwoZero do not win any points. It looks bleak for them right now, but Christmas is the time of miracles, so there's still hoping.

[Hex]Polymorph

And finally the new kids on the Diamond block. Polymorph have been through four matches but only gained one point, which was against TwoZero last weekend. Three matches remain and two of them will be very hard, as they come up against BMG and Sync, but at least the third match, also the last on the plate for the weekend, seems doable, when they face their direct competition: Nightmare Knights. The two teams pretty much sit in the same boat and only the team that can win here and got a few points in their earlier matches may escape Relegation, but this also only if TwoZero fails twice this weekend. A lot of "if”s, but that makes it only more interesting.

And there we have it. You can see a detailed list of matches and times here[/b], the most important thing to know is that the fun starts Saturday at 12:00 EST | 18:00 CET with Sync versus BMG and Fresh versus Nightmare Knights. Honcast will cover as many matches as possible live, so join the fun and enjoy the last Group battles of this year! Good Luck and Have Fun to all teams!
