Several matches in the Diamond Division of HoN Tour are already in the books, but the excitement and the great matches are in no way finished already. As the first cycle is approaching its end this weekend, the best is yet to come,as the competition is down to the final six competitors.

Saturday’s clashes will start at 12 ET | 18 CET with #4 [coL]compLexityGaming taking on #12 [LION]Lions Esports for bragging rights and a guaranteed spot in the elite four in the first cycle. Lions Esports is facing a coL team that has been sent down to the Lower Bracket by their nemesis [tdM]Trademark eSports and are thirsty for retribution. coL is either a team poised and fed by the pure thought of getting further in the tournament to once again face off with their arch rivals, or demoralized and battered by yet another crucial defeat at the hands of tdM.

The second match from the Lower Bracket features the rematch between #3 [357]QsQ and #13 [FbK]Fortune Bakery. They squared off in the first round of the Winner’s Bracket, ending in a very decisive and quick victory of FbK that put QsQ in jeopardy of losing their Diamond status right away.

QsQ responded with three close victories in a row, but the real challenge is coming this Saturday. In the first match FbK just manhandled the young team around NoVa, bringing their psyche even further down after a very unsatisfying DreamHack Winter 2024 appearance by the European powerhouse. They now have to prove they are getting back in shape, or Fortune Bakery will step on them once again, elevating themselves to a top four team.

The real spectacle this Saturday will start at 15:30 ET | 21:30 CET with the rematch of the HoN Tour Qualifier Final between #1 Trademark eSports and #2 [VOTE]Gary Johnson 2024. Though this is not a true rematch, as the blockbuster acquisition of sLiCKz by Gary Johnson happened after the Qualifiers.

Competition just got tougher for tdM, who not only face the solid four core players of V0TE, but now also the feared and sensational carry from Australia. A showdown of epic proportions and very likely a preview of the Grand Final is about to commence that Saturday evening. Be sure to tune in.
